HOW WE’RE RESPONDING TO COVID-19

We’re here for you and your pets!

At Doggy Dates, the health and safety of our team and community is our number one priority. We’ve taken a number of steps in support of our team and the communities we serve, with increased safety measures and operational changes. And, we’ll continue to do all we can to help navigate these uncertain times.

Contactless Pick-up

For dog pick-ups and drop-offs, we work with our clients to tailor a plan that makes sense for each unique scenario, whether it be retrieving a dog from a safe, outdoor location or texting a client to let their off-leash dog run straight to the car.

Increased Cleanliness

To prevent the potential spreading of germs, drivers sanitize their hands in between each stop. While we encourage contactless pick-up, in situations where this is not possible, our staff will disinfect all touched surfaces of your home. All vehicles are thoroughly cleaned and disinfected at the end of each day.

Employee Safety

Our staff practices social distancing from one another AT ALL TIMES. At the field, we are lucky enough to have large, open outdoor spaces so that each staff member can have their own section with their group of dogs. In accordance with CDC recommendations, all staff will be wearing masks, effective 4/9, for all pick-ups and drop-offs. As you know, there is a major PPE shortage, so rather than use disposable masks that our healthcare workers so badly need, we have sourced hand-made masks that can be appropriately disinfected and reused.
